Disea has developed a new 7-inch Mini LED display module, the display effect can be comparable to AMOLD.

Mini LED display, in fact, it is also a TFT LCD module, just the traditional SMD LED backlight changed to a tiny size Mini LED as the backlight. This change, so that the TFT LCD class display technology has been unprecedented upgrade.

Mini LED is through a large number of tiny size LED chips densely arranged together, belongs to the bottom of the light-emitting technology, this is a new kind of backlight, the following left figure. While the traditional backlight, most of them are still side-illuminated, as shown in the right figure below.

Advantages of Mini LED backlight:

• Uniformity:

Because the Mini LED package size is much smaller than the LED, and distributed under the LCD panel, then there is enough space to achieve high-density row, which makes the backlight more uniform;

•  Brightness:

A large number Mini LED units added can significantly improve the brightness of the LCM;

• Contrast:

It has a special local dimming technology, which controls multiple light-emitting partitions through a local dimming board to achieve finer brightness control and improve contrast.

• Low power consumption:

Mini LED's chip size is very small, so the energy consumption is very low, which can reduce the power consumption of the display and prolong the service life.

Next, Mini LED will be more widely used, outdoor instrumentation, automotive, high contrast requirements of medical products may be used. This is our product picture and the development of local dimming board, it is worth noting that the local dimming board needs to be newly developed, this is our debugging with.
